Description

The Tanjung scented candle lies in an opaline glass hand-blown by our glass craftsmen. Multiple colors are sprinkled throughout the glass, recalling the tones of the mysterious landscapes of Indonesia. Indonesia is home to many large tropical forests where animal and plant biodiversity lies protected. The Tanjung National Park is located in the southwest of the island of Borneo and covers 355,000 hectares. Orangutans live in the wild and make up the largest reserve of this species in the world. These mysterious jungles house unique species and extraordinary birds, such as the Bird of Paradise found in Papua. We pay homage to the Tanjung Park, a journey to the kingdom of Mowgli where primates are kings.

Use

The quality of our scented candles involves a specific burning ritual. Each time the candle is burnt, it is important to wait until the entire surface liquefies before extinguishing the candle. This will prevent the formation of craters which are unattractive and make burning more difficult. The first time you light your candle, it will always burn for longer than on subsequent occasions. Allow time for the first layer of wax to liquefy completely. The length of time this takes varies depending on the size of the candle.

Never burn the last 1cm (1/2 inch) of wax to avoid flames burning against the glass.

Know-how

The subtle soul of man shines through in the creation of our hand-blown glasses. The incandescent material is wrapped around a rod, as the craftsman's breath brings the form to life. Colors appear thanks to the inclusion of confetti or strands of glass that appear randomly, as if by magic. hand-blown glass is a precious technique that embodies the craftsman's know-how.

For parcels to other countries, delivery is usually made within 3 to 8 business days. Delivery time to Switzerland may be longer. For delivery to islands, please contact our customer service department.
