Bar soaps
Introducing our new addition to our Body Wellness collection: six bar soaps infused with a gentle baobab oil-based formula. They come in a round format with vibrant colors. Each soap is embossed with our signature silk-screened prints, appearing like sculptures.
Bar soaps
All our bar soaps are meticulously crafted by the “Savonneries Bruxelloises”. Located in a historic district of Brussels, the Savonneries Bruxelloises has been handcrafting soaps since 1926. The Savonneries Bruxelloises has accumulated almost 100 years of know-how. To produce top-quality bar soaps, they choose their raw materials with care, just like Baobab Collection. The production manager and grand master soapmaker has overseen product development and production for over 46 years. The Savonneries Bruxelloises have on several occasions had the great privilege of supplying the royal family. They have been named “Official supplier to the Court of Belgium” by H.M. the King.
We recommend wetting your bar soap under water and lathering it between your hands. The soap will gently melt into a milky, moisturizing texture, leaving a protective, fragrant film on your body. Baobab Collection bar soap can be used as a body soap as well as a hand soap. In addition to its gentle, fragrant effect, our bar soap becomes a decorative object in your bathroom or kitchen, like a small sculpture.
In addition to shea butter (nourishing) and glycerine (moisturizing), baobab oil, the star ingredient in our body wellness range, deeply nourishes the skin and acts as an antioxidant. Composed mainly of omega-9 and omega-6 fatty acids, it has repairing properties, provides emolliency and protects the skin. The full list of ingredients in our bar soaps is available on each soap’s product page, under the “Ingredients” tab.
We wanted to create a bar soap that followed the same philosophy as our other body wellness products: gentle, comfortable and moisturizing. Created in collaboration with the Savonneries Bruxelloises, the formulation of our soaps had to be composed of high-quality raw materials to create top-of-the-range soaps.
As opposed to caustic soaps that dry out hands from the very first use, we opted for a superfatted soap that nourishes the skin, leaving it soft and silky.
The reproduction of our fragrances was also fundamental. As far as possible, we chose to include the maximum percentage of fragrances in each formula, to give you a unique olfactory experience.
To differentiate our bar soaps, we worked on their coloring. The crux of the matter was to obtain the right color for each soap. The master soap maker created samples until we were as close as possible to the desired color.
We chose a round brass mold with a ridged edge, reminiscent of a classic soap. The interchangeable inserts that allow us to engrave our designs on the top of the soaps add an elegant, modern touch.

Once we've found the perfect formulation for our soaps, the second major step is to prepare our soap paste. The various raw materials, such as baobab oil and the fragrance specific to each soap, are mixed. The soap paste is then crushed by 3 rollers to obtain an extremely fine, homogeneous paste: soap lace. It's thanks to this process that we've been able to achieve the silkiness of our bar soaps. Once the paste has been ground 3 times, it is refined to homogenize it. The soap noodles that emerge are left to rest for as long as necessary before passing through the plodder. The paste is compacted by a series of screws to emerge in the form of warm, malleable soap pellets, which are then cut. Finally, the cut soap strands are pressed into their ridged brass molds.
Before being finally packaged, each bar soap is inspected to ensure it is flawless. This work requires a certain degree of attention, as each engraving presents a significant number of details. The soap is then boxed for a few days to dry. Finally, the soap is packaged and ready to embellish your bathrooms.

Six bar soaps have been created with a gentle baobab oil-based formula. A round format, in gourmand, cheerful colors to match our body wellness range. The soap produces a creamy lather when in contact with water, and subtly releases the fragrance that matches its decor. Each bar of soap is embossed with our silk-screen prints, creating a bas-relief of the Women and Gentlemen motif and those of our legendary destinations: Paris, Manhattan, Miami and the Baobab Collection in Saint-Tropez. The fragrance of Women and Paris soaps belongs to the floral olfactory family, Manhattan and Baobab Collection in Saint-Tropez to the aromatic olfactory family, Gentlemen to the amber and spicy family, and Miami to the solar and aquatic family.
Our bar soaps are available in a gift set of two soaps in a colorful box decorated with hot-air balloons. You can choose from 3 different soap duos: the Women & Gentlemen soap duo, the Manhattan & Paris soap duo, and the Miami and Baobab Collection soap duo in Saint-Tropez. These soap sets are the perfect gift!
