A percentage of the profits from the Women and Gentlemen candles is donated to BIG. With this collection, Baobab Collection wishes to show its love for women and is committed to supporting a cause that touches everyone in one way or another.

The aim is to promote education and health for children from underprivileged backgrounds, with a particular focus on getting girls into school. For more than five years, the association has been active in the field, offering immediate and sustainable solutions to rural populations faced with economic insecurity and food, health and education shortages. The projects are supported by local partners who run programs in the field, respecting local traditions and culture to help empower the population.

Today, this talented cooperative comprises about sixty women whose artisanal expertise and unwavering dedication have preserved a centuries-old heritage while ensuring the well-being of their families through respected and valued work.

This long-standing collaboration goes far beyond production: it embodies our commitment to artisanal excellence and respect for traditions. By contributing to this initiative, we actively participate in the economic and cultural development of the Malagasy community, while offering our customers creations of exceptional quality, infused with the authenticity and cultural richness of Madagascar.

Since 2023, we have been honored to collaborate with this institution actively supporting the Camps Internationaux de Reboisement (CIR). During the previous edition, our contribution enabled the planting of 10,000 baobab trees and the creation of a 5,000 m² vegetable garden, thanks to the expert hands of the women of the local community. This gesture not only provided a sustainable livelihood for their families, but also a source of pride and autonomy.

For the next edition, our commitment is strengthened by the ambitious goal of planting 25,000 trees, demonstrating our determination to redouble our efforts to preserve our precious natural heritage.

Boabab Collection pays tribute to the sacred tree, the brand's emblem, by launching a preservation initiative. Inspired by African lands, the brand celebrates the baobab, a symbol of knowledge and femininity, often used as a traditional gathering place. In addition to its symbolism, the baobab is a nourishing tree with health benefits, as its fruits, seeds and leaves are rich in nutrients. Its bark is also used in traditional medicine for its healing properties.
